About us
DEMAC
We are women devoted to make known the stories of other women of different ages and life conditions through the dissemination of their autobiographical testimonies.
We intend to create an open and pluralistic community fostering an exchange of experiences and knowledge and, at the same time, bringing about social changes.
DEMAC A.C. is a non-profit association, funded by the ESRU Foundation.
DEMAC
At DEMAC we rescue and disseminate women’s stories.
We provide different kinds of autobiographical writing workshops, and through competitions we grant awards for women who dare to tell their story.
We publish print, e-book and podcasts of the award-winning texts and we distribute them in bookstores, book fairs, and through this webpage.
We make known the DEMAC Publishing House titles in book presentations.
Through the virtual dissemination of the autobiographical testimonies of women, we seek that they transcend their life efforts and that their experiences foster changes in society.
Seats
DEMAC Headquarters are located in Mexico City, has branches in the cities of Puebla, Chihuahua and Querétaro, and a representation in Xalapa, Veracruz.
Our activities encompass the 32 States of the Republic—and 252 cities—and it has even reach some other countries.
