Abstract
For Barbara Sandoval, the earthquake of September 19, 2017 represented an impulse to be reborn. That “shaking” that she lived in Cholula, Puebla, makes her ponder about: life, death, the government, spontaneous solidarity, help from abroad, the emergency backpacks, the national seismological, the pain and the victims. At the end, it is comforting to know that the multiple differences between people are diluted for a common good.
