Abstract
Érika Eloísa Chaidez López, narrates the story of her sister Lidia, who at the age of thirteen had an accident that changed her life, as she became quadriplegic. Since she was a child, she had the ability to express herself artistically, one of her dreams was to be an artist in painting, which materialized when one day she realized she could paint with her mouth. Another dream was to be a professional and she also achieved it by obtaining a degree in Social Psychology, she joined the Administration of the Municipality of Ahome, Sinaloa, overcoming countless obstacles.
Both in art, as in the professional field, Lidia has helped people with disabilities and vulnerable groups. She has demonstrated throughout her life that goals and dreams, despite obstacles, can be achieved.
